Hi, I’m Chris
Most of my students start lessons feeling nervous — many have never driven before.
I’m a local Shepparton driving instructor focused on calm and patient lessons, especially for beginners and nervous drivers.
Learning to drive can feel stressful. Many students worry about making mistakes, holding up traffic, or being judged. That’s completely normal — my job is to make your first lessons feel comfortable and relaxed.
Before becoming a driving instructor I spent many years driving professionally on Australian roads. That experience gave me strong road awareness, hazard perception and defensive driving skills, and I now teach those in a simple, easy-to-understand way.
Parents are always welcome to contact me if they have any questions before their teenager’s first lesson.

My lessons are step-by-step and pressure-free. We focus on confidence first, not perfection.
Your first lesson is simply about getting comfortable in the car and understanding the basics. There’s no yelling, no rushing, and no judgement. You learn at your own pace.

Lessons take place in a modern automatic car with dual controls so I can safely assist if needed.
The car is smooth, quiet and easy to drive — ideal for first-time learners and anyone who feels anxious about driving.
I’ll clearly show you what to practise between lessons so you improve faster and feel properly prepared for your driving test.
I’m based in Kialla and teach across Shepparton, Mooroopna and Tatura.
